Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in America for the past 40 years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). The actress began her career in stage shows during the 1950s beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. After that, she acted on Broadway for a number of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner became big in the National Theatre. Her first album of music, It's Time For Tina in the same year. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, which was a 1958 film. The film received widespread acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationship with Lee Strasberg. The year 1964 saw her signing to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway as a somber character to counter her image of glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary, although she made a mark as a successful television director with several series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birth date was August 28, 1965, in Essex. At the age of 3, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of in the city for her entire childhood. Her home was in Vancouver following her selection to play Samantha Carter.
